Players place any number of bets by placing chips on appropriate areas of the table. “Outside” bets (bets placed on the outside of the numbers on the table) include red/black, odd/even, 1-18, 19-36, dozens, or columns—while “inside” bets (bets placed on the numbers themselves) allow players to bet on a specific number or multiple numbers at once. After bets are placed, a dealer throws the ball and a winning number is announced.
